What is a U-Shaped Valley? A steep sided valley caused by a glacier erosion. Glaciers are huge masses of ice.

Interesting facts U-shaped valleys are found in areas with high elevation. U-shaped valleys have broad flat valley floors. U-shaped valleys exist in Glacier National Park in Montana and throughout the Rocky Mountains.
