2 What is a Glacier  A glacier is a large mass of water that if frozen over the earths surface 

3 How do Glaciers form?  Glaciers form by the accumulation of ice or snow.  It takes a great deal of pressure to make Glacial ice.  This is usually 100-180 ft. of snow accumulation

4 What are the two types of glaciers.  Continental glaciers- a glacier that covers much of a continent or large island  valley glacier- a long narrow glacier that forms when snow and ice build up high in a mountain valley

5 The difference and alike between the two glacier types  continental glaciers are wide and can cover a continent, and valley glaciers are long and narrow.
