The Corner Each day there are thousands stuck on the corner between…. Recovery and Hopelessness They fear letting loved ones down and letting themselves down.
A Star is there…. Service providers are there to listen--to build on a person’s strengths, even when it seems there’s nothing there to build on. Finding periods of success Finding a “happy life goal” Finding support So they can find themselves again.
“You can’t change my mind.” Providers listen for the Stage of Change for each problem. And seek to understand the road already taken. Pre-contemplation Contemplation Preparation Action Maintenance
