How Living Things Get Energy All things both living and non-living need energy in order to create forces (pushes and pulls).

There are 2 types of Living things: 1.Producers Producers are… PLANTS…GREEN PLANTS

PRODUCERS or GREEN PLANTS get their Energy by PRODUCING IT. In other words, their bodies MAKE IT THEMSELVES. Its called PHOTOSYNTHESIS. They use: + = OXYGEN & GLUCOSE (SUGAR) + SUNLIGHT WATER CARBON DIOXIDE

CONSUMERS ARE: Any organism that EATS its food to get energy. Such as: People, bugs, bacteria, fungi, dogs, cats, other animals or amoeba
