 In most cases the child/children must choose who to live with mom or dad.

 Custody battles tend to cause stress among the child leaving them confused and angry.

 More than 1/3 of children studied had an increase in temper.

 The conflicts between parents causes more stress or their child or children.

 Other issues and phobias come into play after divorce.

 Children of divorce use comfort items such as blankets, stuffed animals, etc.

 Sleep disturbances are frequent in small children from the fear of abandonment.

 Over half of the kids studied had problems with their grades in school.

 Children suffer from economic loss because of the switch to a one income household.

 All of the people studied suffer from moderate to severe depression after their parents divorce.

 Stress is the number one issue of these children.  Many thing stress out the child which causes these other issues.

 Kids feel as though they cannot trust their parents with their feelings.

 The divorce causes the person to feel their relationship with their significant other will fail as did their parents’.

 They have a higher risk of being involved with drugs and alcohol illegally.

 Facts show that children with married parents have a lesser risk of all these issues.
