What is an atlas? A book of maps

What can you find in an atlas? Can include information about: Roads/Driving Directions/Latitude and Longitude Landscapes/Topography/Landforms/Physical Maps Social Information/Population/Cultural Natural Elements/Temperature/Resources REMEMBER: This is all in map form.

What is an almanac? A book of statistics (numbers) and other information that is published annually. That means once a year. Almanacs can be information about a previous year or possible information about a future year. Usually this is for weather predictions.

What can you find in an almanac? Statistical Information Interesting Facts About Different Subjects Weather Predictions/Patterns (Farmer’s Almanac) “Year In Review”
