West Virginia  On June 20, 1863, is when West Virginia became a state and it became the 35 th state it also was a part of the Union during the Civil War

Information of West Virginia  The capital of West Virginia is Charleston.  There is 1,852,994 people as the 2010 census.  West Virginia is ruled by 3 representatives

West Virginia’s Nickname  West Virginia is known as the mountain state because of all of it mountains that brings hikers to explore West Virginia’s highest peaks, and ATV riders to go on one of many of West Virginia’s trails.
