2. It was a very insane world in the 1800’s for Richmond. First having a new president! Abraham Lincoln. On the Other side was John Wilkes Booth. He was a dream actor. All the girls were CRAZY about him. He also had a Crazy mine, and a CRAZY plan. He was going to Assonate Abraham Lincoln. CRAZY times.

3. The civil war started in 1861, and ended in 1865. The states on the union were: Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Kansas, California, and Oregon. Virginia was on the confederate side but It split up to a state called West Virginia and the People who moved to West joined the union. (Nevada became a state in 1864, joined the union)

4. The confederate side, consuming the states of: Virginia, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. The border states: Missouri, Kentucky, Maryland, and Delaware.
