64% of assessed Monash staff were in 4 or 5 rated 4 digit groupings. Based on the proportion of 4 digit groupings above or well above world standard Monash ranked 6 th in the G08 By way of comparison, in 2008 Monash ranked: 5 th in Go8 for total research income 4 th in Go8 for Category 1 income 4 th in Go8 for weighted publications 4 th in Go8 for HDR Load.
