How to Progress Through a Moodle Topic

The topics are shown as a grid … … and selected by clicking the title. At any time in moodle you can use the breadcrumbs to navigate around the website.

For each topic you are provided with a topic outline … … a list of DVD’s contained within the lesson and a reference to the recommended text… … a Quiz, greyed out with conditional information of how it can be accessed.... information on any practical projects relevant to the topic.

… objectives of the project are given, along with the procedure to be followed. Practical Project information…

Click here to begin … Starting a Topic Lesson

The first page provides you with the page numbers from the recommended text you are required to study… …as well as an outline of how to proceed through the topic.

Progress through each lesson using the ‘Next’ Icon. You can quit a lesson at any time by using the ‘End of Lesson’ Icon.

DVD content is extensively used to reinforce lesson structure. Click inside the screen to start a DVD.

Proceed to the Quiz…...or return to the main unit page. After reaching the end of a lesson, you will be notified.

A maximum of 4 attempts are available for each quiz. To start, click the ‘Attempt quiz now’ icon. Your grade will be the highest achieved from any of the 4 attempts. … you will go to the Quiz Front Page
