Admission Criteria 1. Session GPA combined average of first & second terms - (Sept - April) includes ALL grades minimum required Courses Passed total first year load = 40.0 units minimum required = 30.0 units Both of these conditions must be met
Course Transfer Credit Minimum grade of C-
Quota Selection Average QSA = Session GPA - Light Load Adjustments Normal first year load = 38.0 units Adjustment applied if < 37.0 units attempted Course still included in load even if failed
QSA Example Session GPA = 2.5 Did Not Take Elective Course = 3.0 Engineering Units (U of A) Load Carried : = = 2.0 Light Load Adjustment 2.0 x 0.05 = 0.1 GPA - adjustments = QSA = 2.4
