Presentation transcript:

In 2012, a lot of time was spent preparing the classroom so that we were ready to learn by “doing”.

We began the year with some fun team building activities like this one. “Gumdrop Towers”

Eventually, we learned how to measure EVERYTHING in metric! Well…some of us were learning. (even Ms. Lanning was learning how to manage the students better!)

Not only did she learn how to manage 6 th grade students, but she also (kind of) learned how to operate the technology in the classroom.

Finding Density with Mr. Edmonds

After students heard the density song… they couldn’t wait to learn about mass and volume!

Throughout the year... we always had fun learning! (Competing in the Mini-Metric Olympics)

The Paper Roller Coaster Challenge Hmmm…???

Science was so much fun that… we still want MORE! (at least Ms. Lanning does)
