2 Protecting Telecom CI in BC during a major Hazmat event Objective of the Study Western focused project to evaluate (a) response capability to pair technical telecom and trained HAZMAT expertise and (b) Bell and TELUS C2 capability to remotely manage a Hazmat incident during a major event in BC Expected results Reinforce the need to involve all levels of government, first responders, technical experts regional reps from CI owners in emergency planning for Hazmat events. Transition findings to operational communities. Carriers intent is to bring findings to CTEPA and potentially roll it out nationally.
