Graduation Requirements Each student is required to have at least 8 credits in Social Studies to meet graduation requirements Regents Diploma student must achieve a 65 on 5 Regents: 10th grade students- Global History 11th grade students- US History
Grammatical topics covered throughout the year will include: Preterit and Imperfect Tense Compared Future and Conditional Tense Compared Imperative (Commands, Formal and Informal - all forms ) Perfect Tenses including Future Perfect & Pluscuamperfecto Subjunctive & Imperfect Subjunctive

Projects For The Year Projects will vary from teacher to teacher. Some projects will be: Mi diario durante vacaciones / Past El cuento de niños – Children’s book Diálogos / Dialogues with all thematic units ¿Quién soy yo? – Spanish personality Una revista de moda / Clothing & Shopping Las noticias en el mundo El menú de su país hispanohablante
Common Core Standards: All lessons and assignments are aligned to the Common Core Standards through text based evidence in discussion and writing. Common Core projects or dialogues, one per term. Academic vocabulary: teachers address Common Core Standards by integrating academic vocabulary into each unit.
Assignments All assignments will be posted to PupilPath in a timely manner. Homework is written on the board daily and students are responsible to copy it. Classwork is assigned daily. Portfolios will be created by the students and will include contracts, goals and written assessments.
