What is the International Foundation Year? A one-year programme to provide the academic qualifications and English skills needed to progress to a UK university Equal to 3 A-Levels. Graded A*-U. The NCUK Guarantee Studying on the programme guarantees students two conditional offers from NCUK’s partner universities Students completing the IFY programme with a minimum of CCC and EAP C are guaranteed entry to one of NCUK’s partner universities

Students are welcome to apply to any university Option of Medical degree profession For students unable to meet the minimum requirements for the guarantee, there are options at NCUK partner universities and international study centres

NCUK IFY: Medical Route Students can progress to an MBBS degree at University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) or Queen Mary, University of London (Malta Campus), or an MD at St. George’s University, Grenada

NCUK IFY: Medical Route Students who want to progress to an MBBS will study Maths (Science), Chemistry + one other Science module (Biology or Physics). Maths (Science) EAP Biology Chemistry

Entry Requirements: UCLan and QMUL For students who would like to study an MBBS degree at UCLan or QMUL, they must meet the following entry requirements: AAB from the NCUK IFY, including chemistry and at least one other science English Language, EAP grade B Personal Statement Transferable Skills Statement No aptitude test as part of the admissions process *Not part of the NCUK Guarantee
