Looking at Georgia, and using cardinal and intermediate directions, what is the location of Cobb County? Cobb County is in the northern part and the western part of the state of Georgia.

What are the five geographic regions of Georgia? - Appalachian Plateau - Ridge and Valley - Blue Ridge Mountains - Piedmont - Coastal Plains

APPALACHIAN PLATEAU Northwestern Corner of Georgia. TAG area of Georgia. (Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia) Lookout Mountain Poor soil Right below Chattanooga, TN

Ridge and Valley Dalton area is known as the “carpet capital of the world”. Area is also Georgia’s Apple Capital. Open valleys and narrow ridges.

Savannah River Forms Georgia’s border with South Carolina City of Savannah lies close to the coast and is our biggest port in Ga Port serves 26 states in the SE region.
