Highlights of HPMP Stage – I Implementation Overall, HPMP Stage I, technically completed in all the countries and every country has met compliance targets. Policy and regulatory interventions – licensing and quota systems are in place; Ban on import of HCFC charged equipment in countries like India, Bhutan and Maldives, with others to follow Increase in import duty on HCFCs e.g. Sri Lanka Various ODS-free technologies selected for RAC Sector R32, R290 and R410 for air- conditioners and larger CO2) ODS-free, low GWP technologies in foam sector (Cyclopentane, Water blown ……) Focus increasing on energy efficiency (manufacturing and servicing)
