RULES/EXPECTATIONS DO RIGHT Be a leader in our program (selfless, loyal, humble, dependable) (lead by example) Be responsible and accountable for your actions and performance Have a sense of urgency every day Get in best possible physical condition that you can (training, nutrition, sleep) If it doesn’t help achieve your goal, don’t do it!

ALL WE ASK IS ALL YOU’VE GOT RULES/EXPECTATIONS ALL WE ASK IS ALL YOU’VE GOT Give consistent, relentless effort It doesn’t take talent to hustle You get out what you put in Have a passion for what you do FINISH everything you start

Keys to Success in the Classroom Don’t miss school and be on time to all classes Sit in the front of classroom if can Don’t talk unless asking/answering a question or participating in a group activity Appearance matters – work / self

Keys to Success in the Classroom Take notes / study them Study / do homework in bright light with no distractions (TV/Phone) Do homework as soon as possible Turn in all work on time, complete Do ALL extra credit

Keys to Success in the Classroom If you don’t understand something, ask for help No excuses – get it done!

ROLE OF PARENTS Exemplify the TEAM concept Be GREAT fans (cheer our kids, don’t address opponent, coaches, or officials – ask yourself if what you are doing/saying helps or hurts team) Make them SLEEP (10-12 hours) Monitor NUTRITION (See website)

ROLE OF PARENTS Join and volunteer with the booster club (all $ goes right back to kids) Hold your child accountable for the expectations we have for them (society gives too many excuses!) Communicate with the coaches (protocol)

WHAT DO I LIKE THAT MY PARENTS DO? Be at my contests / events Be positive / encourage me Support my team and teammates Get involved in the program Help me get extra practice Snacks

WHAT DO I NOT LIKE THAT MY PARENTS DO? Yell / criticize me during games Coaching from the stands Yell at officials / umpires Focus on my failures after a game Not letting me fight my own battles

Athletic Code of Conduct Detailed rules and expectations governing student-athletes Available on athletic website Your responsibility to understand and follow these rules and expectations
