Suggestions to improve the organization of the program 1.The training program partially reflects a stimulated and active environment Reassess and implement the strategic context of the program 2.The training should be augmented with an assessment and monitoring evaluation tools Provide an excellent set of learning evaluation and follow-up tools

Strong points of the organization of the program 1.Exposure trips to other scientific and library institutions/organizations which allows the participants to develop plans on best practice benchmarking 2.Applaudable efforts were done to make electronic and multimedia resources available to the participants

Best components of the program academic contents 1. 1.Management in libraries and information centers a. a.Statistics to support decision making for information science and for library management b.Citation analysis c. c.Informetric aspects of the Internet d. d.Libraries involvement in scientific publishing e.ISBD and Thesaurus 2.Information Retrieval and Searching 3. 3.Open Source Software

Not so good components of the program academic contents 1.The academic contents were not in conformity with the approach and the organization of the sessions 2.Some lectures lack depth and impact in analyzing libraries actual and potential problems

Recommendations for the management in my home institution 1.Maximize the utilization of free information resources to create electronic library initiatives on working practices and on traditional forms of service delivery 2.A continuing reassessment of services that may be strengthened or diminished according to changing user needs in order to improve organizational productivity
