We are especially interested in the ‘cultural’ uses of the Internet, such as: Reading newspapers and press on the web Listening to music and radio on the web Viewing television programmes and movies on the web Virtual visits to museums, libraries, archives, theatres and other cultural venues Searching for ‘practical’ cultural information on the web; booking tickets for theatres, concerts, museums etc

Practising art as a leisure activity Following activities could be considered: drawing, painting and graphic work sculpting, modelling, pottery and jewellery making textile work , tapestry-making, weaving singing, playing a musical instrument acting, dancing writing fiction or poetry making photo’s, films and video (is this still distinguishable?) composing music on the PC writing diary or blog for the Internet graphic design on the PC and/or web design on the Internet
