The Judgment Seat of Christ 2 Cor. 5:9-11

We Know That One Day We Will Be Judged This time of judgment is an appointment that God has made for us. Because we must appear before Him, “we also have as our ambition...to be pleasing to Him” - 2 Cor. 5:9

We Know That It Is Christ Who Is The Judge It is Christ who came to this earth, and it is Christ who will judge the earth. The assurance of the judgment is the resurrection from the dead - Acts 17:30-31; 1 Cor. 15:12-19; 2 Cor. 5:1

We Know The Basis For The Judgment Of Christ We are going to be judged based upon “deeds in the body, according to what he has done.” On this great day of judgment, we will receive either eternal life or eternal punishment - Rom. 2:5-10
