The Bible teaches that Jesus is coming but not back to the earth - 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
The apostles taught that Jesus would come again - 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10; Hebrews 9:28; 2 Peter 3:10
Jesus promised that He would come again - John 14:1-3; Matthew 25:31
The angels announced that Jesus would come again - Acts 1:11

3. All The Dead Will Be Raised
There will be a general resurrection of both the good & the evil - John 5:28-29
The resurrection will be a bodily resurrection - 1 Corinthians 15:35-38
The resurrection will be patterned after Jesus' resurrection - 1 Corinthians 15:20

4. Everyone Will Stand Before The Judgment Seat Of Christ
There is a judgment day coming - Matthew 25:31- 32
Jesus will be the judge - John 5:22; 2 Timothy 4:1
Jesus will be just - John 12:48
What will be the outcome?
There will be a separation!
Fruits of our deeds - Jeremiah 17:10
Deeds done in the body - 2 Corinthians 5:10
Secret things - Ecclesiastes 12:13-14
Words - Matthew 12:36-37

5. The Lost Will Go Into Hell
Hell is a real place
Hell is an eternal place
Hell is the place for the unsaved - Psalms 9:17; Matthew 25:41
It is a place described as a lake of fire
It is a place of outer darkness - Matthew 8:12
It is a place of eternal punishment - Matthew 25:46
It is a place of torment - Revelation 20:10
But not the same in quality
"Eternal punishment" & "Eternal life" are the same in duration

6. The Saved Will Go Into Heaven
Heaven is a real place
Heaven will be God's children's eternal home
Heaven is a place now accepting reservations - Revelation 20:15
Heaven will not be upon this earth - 2 Peter 3:10
It is where Jesus is now - Acts 7:55; Philippians 3:20; Colossians 4:1
It is where the saved will be after the judgment - John 14:1-3; 1 Peter 1:4
It is called "a new heaven & new earth“ - 2 Peter 3:13
It is where the tree of life will be ultimately found - Revelation 22:14
It is a prepared city
It is where our treasures are - Matthew 6:19-20
It is a better country - Hebrews 11:13-16
We must be prepared to enter heaven (H, B, R, C, B)
Heaven is going to be a wonderful place - Revelation 21:4

7. God has done His part. Have you done yours?
God's Plan of Salvation
GOD'S PART
The great love of God for man (Jn 3:16)
He gave His Son, Jesus Christ, as the Savior (Lk 19:10)
Sent the Holy Spirit as a guide (Jn 16:13)
Gave the Gospel as "the power" unto salvation (Rom 1:16)
Provided atonement by the blood of Christ (Rom 5:9)
MAN'S PART
Hear the Gospel (Rom 10:17, Jn 8:32)
Believe the Gospel (Heb 11:6, Jn 20:31)
Repent of past sins (Lk 13:3, Acts 17:30)
Confess faith in Jesus Christ (Rom 10:10, Matt 10:32)
Be Baptized (Gal 3:27, Mk 16:16, Acts 2:38)
Be faithful unto death (Rev 2:10)
