The Property Management Administration is responsible for: Long-term planning to ensure that everyone in Gothenburg has somewhere to live Co-ordinating city initiatives for people in Gothenburg who are unable to find an apartment on their own Finding homes for people in Gothenburg who have special residential needs Acting as a sub-let landlord for people in Gothenburg who need this kind of help Maintaining a co-ordinated picture of the apartments that the Municipal Authority rents out or owns April 17, 2012

How the Property Management Administration deals with homelessness Monitors the need for apartments among people with social and medical needs that give them priority Assesses which individuals, for social or medical reasons, need to be given housing priority based on the applications for priority received from a city district / health service Acquires dwellings and acts as a sub-let landlord for people in Gothenburg who need this kind of help April 17, 2012

The majority are small apartments We work to improve the capacity of each individual to manage their living situation, enabling them to live as independently as possible We run the Emergency Social Services Department, which is open 24 hours a day We run Huldas hus, an activity centre for women who lack a permanent home We support voluntary organisations that work with homelessness April 17, 2012
