Happy Friday! April 26, 2019 Lit Terms Quiz – today! Grab your IR book – we will quiz first and then read for a few minutes. Timed Essay should be completed and in our shared folder in One Drive. You will have homework this weekend – reading part of Unwind.

After finishing your quiz, read IR book. Lit terms quiz After finishing your quiz, read IR book.

Unwind: Resources On Blog – links to the audio version of the book if you want to listen while reading. On Blog – digital copy of the reading schedule – you have a hard copy (yellow) today! Each day the calendar lists the chapters that you will complete by that evening.

Reflection from Tea Party As we read Chapters 1 & 2, look for answers to the questions you all came up with earlier this week: What has Connor done to deserve this treatment? What is Ariana sorry for? What are they running from? Why do Ariana’s parents think of Connor that way? What happened between Connor and his parents? What did Ariana do to ‘wrong’ Connor? What time period does this take place? How do Connor and Ariana know each other? What does ‘unwind’/’unwound’ mean?

He/She Thinks…Feels…Says… Number off 1-3 #1 – Connor #2 – Risa #3 - Lev For Part 1 and your character, complete the following prompts (each one on a different sticky note) He/She Thinks… He/She Feels… He/She Says.... (quote from the book that is something significant said by the character)

Sample Risa thinks that she can convince the StaHo people to let her stay even though her audition did not go as planned. Risa feels scared when the bus crashes but also sees this as an opportunity to run. She says, "QUOTE FROM THE BOOK“ (Shusterman, #)
