Network Security I want 100% up time I want remote access to my office computer I want to be virus free I want to be able to download any type of material from the Internet I want really fast throughput But I dont want restrictions on what I do, when I do it, or where I do it.

Other interesting things to watch Will students move to laptop computers? What will the next generation of SMART rooms look like? What is the next level of integrating technology into instruction and learning? Will PDAs play a role in instruction? Will streaming video supplement or take the place of some or all instruction? Will academic departments collaborate utilizing technology? Internally? Externally?

How will the university fund technology and all of the other good ideas ?
