The curvature-based principles to simulate the neotissue growth in the porous scaffold. Guyot et al. (2015) 24/07/2019 All rights reserved © 2018

Sintering Temperature The effects of multiple influencing factors have been verified through the pilot experiment. Pore shapes Pore size 0.5/0.7/1/2mm Materials HA/HA-TCP Sintering Temperature 1130/1230°C Cell type Human periosteum derived cells 2 mm The related variable: pore shapes, pore size, materials, sintering temperature, cell type Pilot plate: 3D printed, random distribution 24/07/2019 All rights reserved © 2018

The first result shows that the neotissue growth at experiment is much lower than computer modeling. Qualitatively, the curvature-based principle seems to hold for the tested experimental condition. Quantitatively, a recalibration of the advection velocity needs to be performed as the current value is too high in comparison to the results obtained for the CaP scaffold. 24/07/2019 All rights reserved © 2018
