Creation of Israel Israel was created in 1948. It was made a country by the United Nations. One of the reasons it was created was because of Diaspora. Diaspora is when the Jews spread out all over the world. Another reason is the Holocaust. The Holocaust was when the Germans persecuted the Jews because of their race. The United Nations also created Israel because of Zionism. another reason Israel was created is because of Anti-Semitism. These are different reasons why Israel was created. The Arabs were not acceptant of the creation of Israel.

Creation of Israel There are many reasons that are good and bad, about the creation of the country Israel. One good reason is that the Jews have their own county. To spread out their religion and ethnicity. One negative effect about the creation of Israel is many of the Arabs have become refugees, because they had to move out of Palestine. Another negative impact is land distribution, because both the Arabs and Jews want the 3 Occupied Territories, the West Bank, Golan Heights, and the Gaza Strip. These conflicts have been happening for a long time and may cause World War 3.

Israel’s Government Israel’s distribution of power is Unitary, because there is only ONE central government. The citizens role is a democracy. The type of democracy is parliamentary. The citizens vote for the Knesset (parliament). The Knesset votes for the Prime Minister, who is head of the country.

Israel’s Economy Israel has a mixed-market economy. The citizens get to produce and sell a product, while the central government still has some power. There are 5 major industries that contribute to Israel’s economy. Those industries are, Diamond Industry, Natural Gas, Advanced Technology, Metal Working, and Tourism.
