Let’s Recap What We Know So Far:  Jesus is willing to heal all who come to him.  Jesus is able to heal all.  Jesus’ desire and ability is cancelled by man’s unbelief.  All things are possible to him who believes.  Sickness is a work of the devil.  Jesus, through healing the sick, was undoing the devil’s works.

Jesus Bore Our Sicknesses Isaiah 53:4 JPS Surely our diseases he did bare, and our pains he carried… Isaiah 53:5 But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed. Isaiah 53:10 YLT He hath made him sick.

If we do not see instantaneous results what should we do?  Believe that the work has begun and refuse to rely on our eyes to tell us what God is doing.  Give up and say it isn’t God’s will.  Keep reminding ourselves that God says, “They shall recover.”  “Walk by faith and not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7
