Let let’s learn about Heroin

What do I call it? the scientific name for heroin is- Niacetylmorphine The street names include- Smack, Horse, Brown, Sugar, Dope, H, Junk, Skag, Skunk, China white Type of drug- opiod and street drug

How do I use it? Used- Injected, Smoked, Free based, Snorted Looks like- White to dark brown powder or tar like substance

Effects Effects- Euphoria, Drowsiness, Respiratory depression and arrest, Nausea, Confusion, Constipation, Sedation, Tolerance, Addiction, Unconsciousness, coma, overdose and collapsed veins Overdose effects- (kill you) pass out, stop breathing and die, even when revived it can cause brain damage and other serious health problems. Why you might start- it is cheaper than opioids, easy to develop an addiction, easily go through withdrawl.

Its defiantly addictive It is a schedule 1 addictive drug Withdrawal symptoms- nausea, agitation, depression, muscle spasms, craving for drugs, abdominal pain, sweating, shaking, nervousness.

Day in the life. Without the drug they would be groggy, sleepy, slower in everything they do, snappy, their hair would be thin like thread. Once they’ve had their drug they would be back to normal. They would be quicker in the things they do. But the more they do they do the drugs the more they’ll be searching for that high. And the more they do the more they need to reach a high. The more they need the more they spend and that would mean no money. Most people who do heroin develop an addiction very fast. They will end up spending all their money and resort to stealing as a way to get money. They end up with no more money. Most people who do heroin end up snappy, high and broke. Messed up lives searching for the high they got that one time. Searching for drugs, homeless and eventually most of them overdose. Especially if they don’t get the help they need.
