The most basic form of a verb in English is called infinitive. You can spot infinitives because they have the word to in front of them: - To swim, to walk, to read In Spanish infinitives don´t have a separate word like to in front of them. They are only one word and always end in –ar., -er, or –ir. - Hablar, Correr, Escribir.

¿Qué te gusta hacer? What do you like to do? Me gusta- I like No me gusta - I dont like Me encanta – I love it También - too Pero – But Me gusta mas –I like more No me gusta nada –I do not like it at all A mi tampoco- Me either

On a piece of a construction paper you will make a collage of pictures of things you like to do and things you don´t like to do. On one side you will have only things you like to do. On the other side you will have things you don´t like to do. On a separate sheet of paper you will explain each side using this chapter´s vocabulary. Use slide 10 to guide you. You will present to the classroom by first introducing yourself, explaining when your birthday is and then talking about you like and what you don´t like to do.
