2 REPASO (review) How do we ask someone what they like to do? ¿Qué te gusta hacer? How do we say “I like”? Me gusta… What if we like it a lot? Me gusta mucho… What comes after “Me gusta” or “Me gusta mucho”? An verb(infinitive)/activity

3 Repaso How do we ask, “do you like to…?” ¿Te gusta….? If we don’t like it, we say…. No me gusta.. If we don’t like it at all, we say…. No me gusta nada…. What comes after “No me gusta” or “No me gusta nada”? Verb(infinitive)/activity

5 Repaso If your friend likes (me gusta) an activity and you do also, how do we say “me too”? A mí también. If you don’t agree….say.. Pues, a mí no me gusta…. If you friend doesn’t like (no me gusta) an activity and you agree, what phrase do we use? A mí tampoco. Pues, a mí me gusta….

6 Practicar Translate the following conversation with your partner on a piece of paper… A: What do you like to do? B: I like to practice sports. A: Me too. Do you like to watch tv? B: No, I don’t like to watch tv. Do you like to write stories? A: I don’t like to write stories at all. B: Me neither. A: Do you like to run? B: Yes, I like to run a lot. A: I don’t like to run.

7 More Grammar To find out if a friend likes to do one of two activities, you will need to say, ¿Qué te gusta hacer más, verb o verb? Let’s try: What do you like more, watching television or ride a bike? ¿Qué te gusta más, ver la tele o montar la bicicleta?

To respond: To say you like neither options, you will need to use ni….ni. “¿Qué te gusta más, nadar o esquiar? No me gusta ni nadar ni esquiar. I don’t like neither swimming nor skiing.

Translate the following sentences using ni..ni. I don’t like neither skating nor swimming. I don’t like neither singing nor drawing. I don’t like neither playing the guitar nor reading. I don’t like neither practicing sports nor skateboarding. I don’t like neither writing stories nor going to school.

12 If you like only one of the choice, you can say either: “Pues, me gusta más…….” Or “Pues, no me gusta nada…..”
