Wave Behavior Reflection – wave strikes an object and bounces off Refraction – waves change direction as it travels through different mediums Diffraction – bending of waves around a barrier

Wave Behavior Interference – overlap of waves Constructive interference – when two waves overlap and increase in amplitude Destructive Interference – when two waves overlap and decrease in amplitude Doppler Effect – distortion of waves caused by a moving object
