Beginnings… The environment Creating digital content since 2004 Storage on servers Backups on CDs and DVDs Creation of new team

Goals… Start the move toward becoming a “Trusted Repository” under ISO 16363 Standardize processing using the OAIS model Standardize a coherent file system that is consistent with Special Collections and University Archives collection arrangement Secure our content using three on and off site storage areas Multiple backup resources

Digital Content Digitized content (audio, video, images, documents) Born digital content (audio, video, images, documents and disk images) Research Data Sources of content

Storage Content is spread across 4 different servers One large file directory system for archival original files Omeka storage (access files) Archivematica storage (AWS-S3) Other cloud storage (Google Drive)
