Disability Services Disabilities on campus include physical complaints, learning disabilities, mental health issues, veterans issues Typical accommodations include extra time on tests, note takers, note cards, interpreters, screen reading software, etc.

Disability Services What the letter of accommodation means How to implement accommodations Accommodations are not retroactive What to do if you have questions Please refer students to me Can I flunk a student with a disability? (yes, of course!)

Your Responsibilities I may ask you to solicit a note taker; let me know if you want me to come to class Please be sure to include a statement about referring students to my office in your syllabus or class policy sheet; I can give you the language You need to implement the accommodations on the letter, particularly testing
