Presentation transcript:

Vpn’s Virtual private network is a private network that extends across a public network or internet which enables people to send and receive data across shared or public networks as if their computing devices were directly connected to the private network. Vpn’s can provide functionality, security and/or network management benefits to the user. But they can also lead to new issues, and some VPN services, especially “free” ones, can actually violate their users’ privacy by logging their usage and making it available without their consent, or make money by selling their user’s bandwidth to other users.

Wireless Wireless networking is a method by which homes, telecommunications network and enterprise (business) installations avoid the costly process of introducing cables into a building, or as a connection between various equipment locations. Wireless telecommunications networks are generally implemented and administrated using radio communication. This implementation takes place at the physical level (layer) of the OSI model network structure.

Dsl Digital subscriber loop) is a family of technologies that are used to transmit digital data over telephone lines

Dial-up Dial up internet access is a form of internet access that uses the facilities of the public switched telephone network (PSTN) to establish a connection.

Routers A router allows you to connect to your modem that in turns allows you to access to the internet Your terminal talks to your router

Broadband Digital Subscriber line is broadband internet delivered over copper phone wires. The lines are split into two frequencies one for the data and one for voice.
