Week 1 IT 2 ‘Who’

Week 1 IT2 Pronouns This teacher led activity aims to introduce the idea that when we are thinking of ‘Who does what’, sometimes the ‘Who’ can be written in different ways e.g. Tom went swimming. He (Tom) went swimming. In each slide two sentences appear. The pronoun then appears to replace the noun in one of the sentences. It is followed by a slide with correct feedback. The next 4 slides are answer sheets for each child to complete during the IT presentation. These should be printed, and distributed to the children before you start. During each slide a pencil appears which is the cue for the children to write their answer, and then discuss it with the teacher and the class when prompted by ‘why?’. Feedback is given on the screen. The child’s task is to decide which pronoun should complete each sentence, ‘he’, ‘she’ or ‘they’.
