J&J Dartmouth collaboration The JJ partnership is private public-academic collaboration in ten states and the District of Columbia designed to provide evidence-based supported employment for persons with psychiatric disabilities by using best practices for program implementation.

IPS Supported Employment Eligibility is based on consumer choice. Supported employment is integrated with treatment. Competitive Employment is the goal. Personalized benefits planning is provided. Job search starts soon after a consumer expresses interest in working. Follow along supports are continuous. Consumer preferences are important. Principles are based on research conducted by Dartmouth et al and comprise the evidence based model.

Evidence Based Practice Program models validated by rigorous research Has guidelines describing the critical components Has a treatment manual (instruction book) Has a fidelity scale (quality measurement) Has been successfully implemented in a wide range of settings Other definitions of what consists of an evidence based practice exist. EBSE has passed the qualifications of SAMHSA which are most vigorous.
