DAILY PLANS AND OBJECTIVES
Presentation transcript:

Bell Ringer: Tuesday, March 20th Put last week’s bell ringers on your desk. I will collect these for credit today. Copy down today’s vocab: Monomania: a “19th century” mental condition in which a person becomes completely fixated on one thing Note: This faded from psychiatric terminology in the 1850s. Sentence: The central character in Poe’s “Berenice” suffers from monomania. He is fixated on ________. Then…start working on your “The Fall of the House of Usher” sheet from yesterday. You will have approximately 5 minutes to complete it.

Reminders… Vocab quiz on FRIDAY. We will have one more word for tomorrow, and that will be your last one. The words are online. I will post a QUIZLET for you to study from. Turn in your book by tomorrow if your name is on the board behind me. If you don’t, you will owe $6. Your homework will be to finish the story that I assign to you.
