Article III

Article III Article III established a National Court System.

Article III The Article gives “THE POWER TO JUDGE” to the supreme court and to what ever lower courts congress may establish.

Article III The main job of the courts is to INTERPRET LAWS. This is called JUDICIAL REVIEW It is the power to review a law and decide if it is constitutional.

Article III The writers of the Constitution wanted members of the Supreme Court to act INDEPENDENTLY. So they….. 1. Provided that judges hold office for life, or until they retire, or found guilty of wrongful Acts. 2. Provided their salaries cannot be lowered while they are in office.
