Pardons people Appoints federal judges Represents the U.S.A. with other countries Head of the armed forces Can ask for laws to be passed that will help the country Must report to Congress how the country is doing

Power to decide final appeals of all cases Decides if laws follow the Constitution or not

16 Checks and Balances Each branch of the government can check one what the other branch is doing. All the branches must be equal. No branch can have more power than another. They must all be balanced.
