Dictator book US History II

directions Get into small groups of 2-3 people You will be given 2 sheets of white paper and construction paper Fold it in half and staple to create a book with a cover page Your group will be creating a book that teaches about each of the key dictators during this time You will need to include specific information for each dictator and a complete timeline of key events to receive full credit You can use your assignments, textbook, or Google as needed for reference You have this class period and half of tomorrow to complete this assignment

Things to include for each country Name of leader. How did he rise to power? What are some of his unethical (bad) actions while in power? Describe the life of a common person under his regime. Include a picture (flag, symbol, etc.) Timeline of key events (8 total) Start date no earlier than 1914 (start of WWI) End date no later than 1953 (Death of Stalin)

grading This assignment will count as a project grade and you will have 1 1/2 class periods to work on it Pay attention to the rubric, this tells you exactly what you need for each category to score well Make it look good!
