If you blow across a bottle with a lot of air and a little water you will make a sound with a high low pitch. If you blow across a bottle with a little amount of air and a lot of water you will make a sound with a high low pitch. Sounds can travel through liquids and gases but not solids. Sound travels faster through liquids than it does through air.
