Presentation transcript:

Monday, April 22 Today: Quick lab activity: curved lenses and mirrors Introduce Ch. 31: Light Diffraction & Interference Reminders: Don't forget to turn in any assignments from last week! Test this week - Chapters 25-31 (Wed or Thur) Portfolios due day of test No school last Friday New seating chart last Thursday

Today's Lab Activity: Curved Lenses and Mirrors Concave vs. Convex, Converging vs. Diverging Divide both sides of the graph paper in half by drawing a line down the middle of the front and back. Number each section Steps 1-4 Each student must turn in their own graph paper and diagrams. Use a straight-edge and a metric ruler! You will be using cm and mm. Be sure to read EVERY step! Groups of 3-4 people.

How to draw the diagrams Draw your ray diagrams so they look something like this.
