Your job is to make an analogy comparing a cell and its working parts (organelles) to another Item that has smaller working parts Possible ideas: ( whatever you want!!!) A school: Brainstorm 10 other ideas- DO not use the school like I did.

Design Thinking Process 7 minutes- just coming up with comparison ideas- as many as you can 3 minutes- love /hate/ not possible/get 12 minutes- developing 2 ideas Pick an idea and get started with sentences (15 min) see next slide Make a rough sketch of your picture Start on final copy

Requirements You must have a picture, colored, neat, labeled- With organelle and comparison You must write a sentence on the back of the poster explaining why each organelle is like the thing you compared it to. (10 sentences total) You must use the following organelles: 1. Cell (Plasma) Membrane___ 2. Cell Wall___ 3. Chloroplast___ 4. Mitochondria ___ 5. Nucleus___ 6. Ribosomes___ 7.
