MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT FOR WATER PURIFICATION FROM LEAD G.V. Medyak, V.I. Sokolova, A.A. Shunkevich, A.V. Bildyukevich*, V.P. Sokol, A.P. Polikarpov NATIONAL ACADEMY OF SCIENCES OF BELARUS INSTITUTE OF PHYSICAL ORGANIC CHEMISTRY

The pollution of water resources by lead compounds is a serious ecological problem, especially in industrially developed regions. Commonly, the level of total lead content in atmospheric precipitations usually ranges from 1 to 50 μg/l, but in areas with intensive industry can reach up to μg /l. Increasing of lead concentration in underground water is causing serious problems concerning drinking water supply in some locations in Middle Asia. Exceeding of the MPC of lead in drinking water (10 μg/l ) in Canada, Europe and some regions of Russian Federation is fixed PROBLEM:

ADVANTAGES: Comparison of the ordinary granular and fibrous ion exchangers high speed of ion exchange, sorption and catalytic processes possibility to use thin (2-6 cm) filtering layers high flow rate high chemical resistance and osmotic stability possibility of multiple regenerations CHEMICALY ACTIVE TEXTILE MATERIALS APPLICATIONS: AIR PURIFICATION FROM TOXIC IMPURITIES IN INDUSTRY AND AGRICULTURE SUPERFINE AIR PURIFICATION IN ELECTRONICS INDIVIDUAL PROTECTIVE MEANS FOR HUMANS SKIN AND LUNGS WATER PURIFICATION FROM HEAVY METALS, NITRATES, ARSENIC, ACIDS DRINKING WATER PRODUCTION

THE AIM OF THE RESEARCH IS TO OFFER THE TECHNOLOGY AND INSTALLATIONS FOR FINE PURIFICATION OF DRINKING WATER FROM LEAD THE NEW APPROACH FOR FINE PURIFICATION OF DRINKING WATER FROM LEAD IS OFFERED.
