ITC Goals Initial Priorities Create a strategic I.T. plan that is aligned and integrated with the UGA strategic plan Link priorities and budgeting Foster a truly collaborative environment

ITC Guiding Principles Maintain institution-wide focus, respecting the disparate needs and priorities of all UGA units Be committed to an attitude of service to faculty, staff, students, and administration Encourage measurable innovation and change in support of UGA’s mission Advocate new or revised relevant policies and standards Seek to be intellectually honest, timely, responsive, and conclusive in all endeavors; i.e. maintain the highest level of integrity Recognize the increasing need for information security and continually seek a proper balance with the need for information access Endeavor to ensure that planning processes are well-coordinated and appropriately collaborative Base priorities on UGA mission and strategic planning Consider the entire lifecycle cost of technologies and their effect to the university environment Listen intently to and zealously communicate with the university community and all relevant stakeholders
