Look up and define: Keystone Species

Create a Poster with the following information: Name of the animal and basic information. Where does it live? What does it eat? How is it important to the ecosystem? What are the major reason(s) for the decline of this species? What events, changes or laws that occurred to enable recovery? Potential or existing issues or conflicts associated with the recovery of the species. Who are the people involved in these conflicts? (individuals or groups) What is the most common strategies selected for helping to resolve the issues or conflicts?

In Your Journal: How important is it that local individuals and groups understand the natural history of the species and its role in the ecosystem? Why?
