The Outsiders Building Background The Trends of the 1960s   Soon, we will begin reading The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, a novel that was published in 1967 and set in the mid 1960s. It is your job to build our understanding of one aspect of this era. You and your group member(s) are in charge of researching one trend, event, person, or place of the 1960 (assigned to you) and sharing your findings on a PowerPoint presentation for the class. Here is What I Expect: Title Slide – Topic Name, Picture, and Group Member Names Six - Twelve Slides – giving background information and facts Slides must have a max of 6 words per bullet point The rest of the information you will read from note cards or paper At least one picture per slide A video clip (no more than 2 minutes) related to your topic All members of your group are participating equally during the presentation Remember this will be a presentation grade and no late passes are excepted.
