GEOGRAPHY OF GREECE Greece is a series of rocky, hilly peninsulas and islands along the Aegean Sea. 80% of Greece is mountains. There are no major river systems as in Babylon or Egypt. Only about 19% of the land is useful for farms, mostly in Northeastern Greece. How did the Greeks get resources?
