“We won by learning to work as a team” Iqra Sports News “We won by learning to work as a team” Professional Cricket Coaching The pupils really enjoyed taking part in the cricket programme. Throughout the sessions, coaches use cricket to teach children valuable life skills like teamwork, respect and communication. By focussing on developing the whole child and the achievement of ‘personal best’, our coaches helped developed the children’s social and mental wellbeing, building their confidence and improving their attitude towards sport. Badminton Festival Pupils from years 1 and 2 participated in a fun Badminton festival. The pupils went to 8 separate stations and completed different skills. All the pupils had a great time and enjoyed competing against other schools. Boccia Festival Boccia is an additive game of bowls. Each team took it in turns to get their ball nearest the jack. All the pupils had a great time and were proud to show of their certificate and medals when they got back to school. November 2018
